This family is imposing lots of restrictions in the name of traditions.Instead of being happy, they criticize if the daughter gets recognized for writing poetry. God, this is too much. Cant a lady wake up late one morning if she is nt well or still tired. Are there no exceptions or scope for flexibility to any routine chores that a lady does? How suffocating it is to face this!!! But it is true that such practices are followed in many families even today though it is difficult to believe it is followed; it is considered disrespectful to in-laws and traditions, if a girl takes care of basic needs and gets her share of joy. But the director should convey more strongly in the coming episodes that this is unfair.

Yes, this is true.. this is still practiced.. am a very independent girl. Has seen world while on job. Recently i got married right during the time when Akshara got married.. and most of the incidents that are happening with her are happening in parallel with my life.. though m such an independent person, i have to follow the traditions.. not that i dont want to but not at the expense of my happiness or my parents’.. getting up early, doing household chores, and cannot rest if not feeling good.. it is considered that we are making excuses.. rather than criticizing in-laws, i guess the person who we married should be speaking up.. he should suggest that this is not their generation time.. but alas! the same person has an orthodox thinking just bcoz of their upbringing in such families.. though they say they have broader outlook of life, it is not so when it comes to their wives’ role as a daughter-in-law.. they think their mothers are SUPREME and they know everything. and THEY ARE ALWAYS RIGHT.. so first of all, the husband should speak up… on behalf of his better half…

I think the show is getting better and better granted Natiks mom is a real bitch but she only acts that way to protect the kids from duda jee…..I love the show the next episode will be sooo good cant wait.
