Akshara’s mother in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Lataa Seth has recently passed out her six-month nutrition and diet planning course. She passed her exams with 74 per cent marks.
Idea of doing the course occurred to her when she was surrounded by people who would go on crazy dieting regime and fall ill. She got back to studies after ten years of leaving college. She has been attending the classes once a week in Worli. Although she has many assignments to do while doing the course she managed it with her daily soap.
She was only the medical student in the batch who was not from medical science and had science only till her class 12th class. Her co-actor barely knew about her doing a course but her husband has been supportive all through out.
